The memorials are to be found within the parish church, Ufford. A bronze plaque is affixed to a seat within the church porch and holds 4 names for the Second World War. The bench reads:

IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF UFFORD WHO LOST
THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR 1939-1945

There is also a memorial chapel with panelling listing those from the First World War who died and a three light, stained glass window depicting Christ carrying the cross assisted by a First World War soldier and sailor, below this are various symbols of the various military arms represented, the window and panelling were originally dedicated in June 1920, the designer was Sir Ninian Copwer and this was reported in the East Anglian Dialy Times 5th June 1920. There are 22 names for the first World War. The window carries the names of all who died in both the First and Second World War.

BARBER	Alphonso	Gunner RMA/13163, Royal Marine Artillery, HMS Queen Mary. Lost with his ship 31 May 1916. Resident of Ufford. Born 11 October 1895, at Barsham, Bungay, Suffolk. Brother of William (below). Height 5 feet 8½ inches, fresh complexion, grey eyes, brown hair. Son of William Barber, of Church Lane, Ufford. In the 1901 census he is aged 5, born Barsham, resident with his parents, William and Louisa Barber (note different mother's name), in High Street, Ufford, Woodbridge, Suffolk. In the 1911 census he was aged 15, a Labourer on Farm, born Barsham, son of Louisa Barber, resident Church Lane, Ufford, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Enlisted 4 November 1912 in London, aged 17 years 24 days. No known grave. Commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. On 31st May 1916, HMS Queen Mary was part of the 1st Battle Cruiser Squadron that took part in the Battle of Jutland. During the battle HMS Queen Mary was hit by gunfire from the German vessels Seydlitz and Derfflinger and exploded, killing all but 8 of her 1,276 crew
BARBER	William [Talent]	[Listed as Gunner] Serjeant 27516, 6th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 29 October 1915. Born Beccles, enlisted Woodbridge. Brother of Alphonso (above). Baptised 12 July 1891 at Holy Trinity, Barsham, son of William nad Louisa Barber. In the 1901 census he was aged 10, born Barsham, Suffolk, resident with his parents, William and Louisa Barber), in High Street, Ufford, Woodbridge, Suffolk. In the 1911 census he is aged 20, born Barsham, a Gunner with 107(S) Company, Royal Garrison Artillery, billetted at Egg Buckland, Plympton, Devon. Buried in YPRES RESERVOIR CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot IV. Row E. Grave 13.
BEZANT	Frederick Archibald	Gunner 46770, 48th Battery, 36th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Died 7 December 1918. Aged 28. Baptised 2 Janaury 1898 at St Mary, Ufford, son of Robert and Constance Alice Bezant, of Melton. Son of Roberts and Constance Alice Bezant, husband of Mary Alice Sever (formerly Bezant)(nee Robinson), of 88 Silverhill Road, Bradford, Yorkshire, married 1918 in North Bierley, Yorkshire. Buried at Maubeuge (Sous-Le-Bois) Cemetery
BEZANT	George Raymond	Private 9299, 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died of wounds 25 September 1915. Resident in Ufford. Born Barnby, Suffolk, enlisted Upswich. In the 1911 census he was aged 20, unmarried, a Milkman, born Barnby, Suffolk, resident with his parents, Robert and Constance Alice Bezant, at East Lane, Ufford Woodbridge, Suffolk. No known grave. Commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial
BEZANT	Harold	Private 41072, 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 28 March 1918. Born in Ufford, enlisted Ipswich. In the 1911 census he was aged 14, unmarried, a Milkman, born Ufford, Suffolk, resident with his parents, Robert and Constance Alice Bezant, at East Lane, Ufford Woodbridge, Suffolk. No known grave. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial
BOOTH	Percy Frederick	Sergeant 15120, 11th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action between 9 April 1918 and 19 April 1918. Born Ufford, enlisted Ipswich. No known grave. Commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial
BROOKS	George Sidney	Private 10599, 2nd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment. Died 27 February 1915. Aged 20. Son of Edward Brooks of East Lane, Ufford. No known grave. Commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial
CLEMENTS	Albert Frederick	Private 35929, 8th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment. Died 18 April 1918. Aged 18. Son of Dand and Hephzibah Clements of Ufford. Buried at Haringhe (Bandaghem) Military Cemetery
CUNNELL	Thomas	Private 40440, 8th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 12 February 1917. Aged 23. Son of Charles and Blanche Mary Cunnell of Ufford. Buried at Contay British Cemetery, Contay
DAVIES	George	Private 24245, 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action 16 August 1917. Aged 19. Born Ufford, enlisted Ipswich. Husband of A Davies of Bridge Cottage, High Street, Ufford. No known grave. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial
FRIEND	Frederick	Private 35574, 7th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. Died 23 April 1917. Aged 34. Son of Edward and Emma Friend of 8 Council Houses, Ufford. Buried at Canadian Cemetery No 2, Neuville-St-Vaast

LEWIS	Phillip	Private 3/8310, 1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 8 May 1915. Aged 20. Son of Philip and Anne Lewis – born Sutton. No known grave. Commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial
LEWIS	William	Private 155, 25th Battalion, Australian Infantry, Australian Imperial Force. Died 11 January 1918. Aged 28. Son of Philip and Ann Lewis, born Sutton. Buried at Underhill Farm Cemetery
NICKALDS	William James	Deck Hand 7432/DA, HMS Halcyon II, Royal Naval Reserve. Died 16 January 1918 at R.N. Hospital Edinburgh of pneumonia. Born 12 October 1892 in Yoxford, Suffolk. Son of William and Faith Nickalds. Nephew of G Nicholls, of Aldringham, Leiston, Suffolk. Buried in Ufford (St Mary) Churchyard Extension. The Ufford War Memorial shows W J Nichols, HMS Cicero. The only HMS Cicero on record was built in 1918/1919 and scrapped in December 1920. No records can be found for a W J Nichols linking with this vessel. W J Nickalds is buried at Ufford Cemetery and is recorded as serving on HMS Halcyon II, which is believed to have been a Trawler/Mine Sweeper. A number of other casualties have been linked with the death of W J Nickalds and Halcyon II, all have been buried at their home towns, the cause of the Halcyon II incident is unknown
NOY	William James	Private PW/5369, 26th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. Died in Salonika 1 October 1918. Aged 29. Born Ufford, enlisted Bury St Edmunds. Son of Zebediah W and Elizabeth Noy of Centre Villa, Ufford. Buried at Mikra British Cemetery, Kalamaria
PALMER	Charles Henry	Private 250964, 2nd/3rd Battalion, London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers). Died 26 October 1917. Born in Woodbridge. No known grave. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. The Ufford War Memorial shows Private Palmer as serving with the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots – the surviving records give no indication that a Private C H Palmer served with this Regiment
PATRICK	Felix John	Sergeant 12244, 11th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Died 12 April 1917. Son of Mr G Patrick of The Rectory, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, born Ipswich. Buried at Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun
PIZZEY	James Arthur	Private 38351, 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 28 September 1918. Aged 19. Born Ufford, enlisted Ipswich. Son of Edgar and Emma Pizzey of Ufford. No known grave. Commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial
PIZZEY	Albert Victor	Sergeant 8244, 7th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died of wounds 30 March 1916. Aged 27. Born Ufford, enlisted Framlingham. Son of Emma Huxley of 603 Delaware Avenue, Dovercourt, Toronto, Canada. Buried at Bethune Town Cemetery
READ	George	Private 1913, 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died 12 March 1915. Aged 19. Son of William and Rosa E Read of Woodcroft, Ufford. No known grave. Commemorated on Le Touret Memorial
WARD, MC	Charles Wilson	Captain, HQ III Corps, Heavy Artillery Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 29 April 1918. Aged 31. Son of William and Catherine Ward of Ufford, husband of Florence Ward of 47 Westgate Street, Ipswich. Awarded the Military Cross (MC). Buried at St Fuscien Communal Cemetery. There are only 3 war graves at this site, all are artillery personnel – two other ranks died 21 April 1918 – speculation that they died as a result of the same incident
1939-1945
DOWNING	Clifford Albert	Sergeant 616763, 223 Squadron, Royal Air Force. Died 23 May 1942. Aged 21. Son of Albert Edward and Elsie Maud Downing of Hollesley. Buried at Tobruk War Cemetery. No 223 Squadron was re-formed in 1936 in Kenya as a light bomber unit. In May 1942, after having trained its own crews, it became an operational Baltimore bomber squadron and subsequently took an active part in the North African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns. Sergeant Downing is also commemorated on the Hollesley War Memorial
ENGLISH	Michael Cecil	Lieutenant 204214, Royal Engineers. Died 24 April 1943. Aged 21. Son of Bertram W and Muriel E F English of Ufford. Buried at Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia
GILBERT	Felix Thomas	Private 5773179, 2nd Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment. Died 10 May 1940. Aged 21. Son of John Thomas Gilbert and Harriet Mary Gilbert of Trimley. Buried at Essars Communal Cemetery
MAYHEW	Harry	Private 5827038, 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died between 15 and 31 August 1944. Aged 23. Son of Mr and Mrs P D Mayhew of Wickham Market. No known grave. Commemorated on the Singapore Memorial.
