memorial plaque can be found inside All Saint’s Church, Church
Road, Ellough, Waveney, Suffolk. It is a rectangular tablet set in a
marble frame. The names in a single column with three regimental badges
of the Northumberland Fusiliers, East Surrey Regiment and Sherwood Foresters.

East Surrey Regiment. Killed in action 31 March 1918. Aged 29. Born
Ellough, Suffolk, enlisted Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Son of Frederick
William and Maria Plumb, of Ellough, Beccles, Suffolk; husband of
Alice Richards (formerly Plumb), of Red Cottages, Gillingham, Norfolk.
Baptised 8 September 1889 at All Saints, Ellough. In the 1891 census
he was aged 1, resident with his parents, Frederick William and
Maria Plumb, at Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk. In the 1901 census he
was aged 11, born Ellough, resident with his parents, Frederick
William and Maria Plumb, in Sotterley Road, Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk.
No known grave. Commemorated at POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France.

census he was aged 4, born Ellough, resident with his parents, James
and James, in Sotterley Road, Ellough, Wangford, Suffolk. Admitted
to Worlingham & Ellough Voluntary School in 1908. Formerly 203071,
Suffolk Regiment. Buried in COXYDE MILITARY CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen,
