29 December 1917. Aged 22. Born Fownhope, Hereford, enlistedn New
Tredegar, Monmouthshire. Son of Mrs. Louisa Addis, of Common Hill,
Fownhope, Hereford. In the 1911 census he was aged 15, born Fownhope,
a General Labourer, resident with his parents, John and Louisa Addis,
Backpiper, Mordiford, Fownhope, Herefordshire. Formerly 201839,
South Wales Borderers. Buried in CROIX-DU-BAC BRITISH CEMETERY,
STEENWERCK, Nord, France. Plot I. Row C. Grave 8. |
