1914-1918

BAXTER	George Abraham	Private 22036 8th Bn., Bedfordshire Regiment who died on Sunday, 24th December 1916. Age 25. Son of George and Janet Baxter, of Graveley, Cambs. Buried in GRAVELEY (ST. BOTOLPH) CHURCHYARD, Cambridgeshire. Grave in North-West half.
MILES	Frank	Private 43074 1st Bn., Bedfordshire Regiment who died on Sunday, 3rd September 1916. Commemorated on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 2 C. Photograph Copyright © Christine Yaxley 2017
REED	Frank	Private. 30227, aged 23, 14th Batt.The Royal Warwickshire Regiment. 5th Division. Killed in action at Arras 24th April 1917. Son of Jesse & Sarah Reed of Cotton Farm, Offord D`Arcy. Born Yelling, and enlisted in Huntingdon. Formerly with The Huntingdonshire Cyclist Batt.(1225) Commemorated on The Arras Memorial MR.20.
SANFORD	Walter	Private 43058 4th Bn., Bedfordshire Regiment who died on Monday, 23rd April 1917. Age 32. Son of Samuel and Sally Sanford, of Graveley, Huntingdon; husband of Lucy Margaret Sanford, of 2, Hanley Place, Datchet, Windsor. Commemorated on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 5.
TACK	James Edward	Private 25069 7th Bn., Suffolk Regiment who died on Wednesday, 9th August 1916. Age 31. Son of William and Elizabeth Tack, of Graveley, Huntingdon. Commemorated on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 1 C and 2 A.
1939-45
PAWLEY	William Philip Arthur	Private 10567728 Royal Army Ordnance Corps who died on Monday, 9th February 1942. Age 31. Son of William James Pawley and Grace Marion Pawley, of Graveley. Buried in PAPWORTH ST. AGNES (ST.JOHN THE BAPTIST) CHURCHYARD, Cambridgeshire.
PETTIT, DFC	C H	Flight Lieutenant 171788 35 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died on Wednesday, 22nd May 1946. Age 23. Son of George James Pettit and Frances Mary Pettit, of Leigh-on-Sea. Buried in SOUTHEND-ON-SEA (SUTTON ROAD) CEMETERY, Essex. Plot R. Grave 12361.
PICKING	Stanley H	Gunner 1104637 135 (The Hertfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regt., Royal Artillery who died on Saturday, 14th February 1942. Age 22. Son of Mrs. F. S. Peake, of Graveley, Cambridgeshire. Commemorated on the SINGAPORE MEMORIAL, Singapore. Column 36.
