The
First World War memorial is located in the churchyard at the rear of
St Peter's Church, School Lane, Coton. It takes the form of a rectangular
plinth with names on two longer sides tapered base and three flower
holders on top. There are 17 names listed for World War 1 only.

was Simon Kidman CHILDERLEY and his mother Jane. He was the husband
of Florence M CHILDERLEY and was killed in action on 9th August
1917. Formerly 325037 Cambs Regiment. Commonly known as George.

Observatory.In the 1911 census he had been married for 1 year to
Norah Winifred Hartley, aged 34, an Observatory Assistant (Astronomical0,
